Hey guys,
I just realized that I didn't even share the greatest project we did this year with you... Sorry about that. I haven't been at my best these past weeks, but now I'd like to give you the ultimate fix if you happened to actually miss seeing our light art.
As this journal's title already gives away what this is about, I'm just going to spit it:
From April to July we've been working on a project with 50 (identical) cameras (Olympus OM-D E-M10) to create the bullet time effect - that's mostly known through The Matrix trilogy - but with light painting. We built a semicircle subconstruction to support the cameras and rigged it up in an abandoned place; and we painted with light.
As simple as all of this may sound - it wasn't. Most of the time we spent on building the construction and adjusting the cameras. The actual painting part was the easiest and least exhausting. (It was pretty cold, though...)
Anyway... Have a look at the result!
It really is not perfect but the whole project started out of an idea we had during an event while drinking beer... So, it was supposed to be only some fun action, and turned out to become a bit more than that. Haha.
I hope you'll enjoy the video!
Much love,
Jen

Daily Deviation II.
OMG. OMG. OMG.
This is the second time I had the honour of getting a Daily Deviation on one of our works. Thanks so much for choosing Race to Red, Kaz-D! It was one of the last DDs you've given and I'm really glad this piece caught your attention... :)
Lots of love,
Jen.
Back from the dead.
Sorry for the long absence, folks. There's been a lot going on and I had trouble accommodating everything. Therefore dA had to wait for my brains to cool off. Haha.
Anyway, thanks a lot for your support even during this dry period of my account. I'll be spreading thanks, llamas and lots of love back to you during the next days, weeks, months... Who knows how long it'll take for me to answer to those HUNDERDS of notifications...
I mean... What is wrong with you, people? Seriously. You're all insane. But... That's why I like you, guys. Haha. :D
Take care and lots of love,
Jen
Take Me Away.
Wohoo! I'm still amazed, my dear fellow deviants, how much this simple photograph has appealed to you and others!
And of course I am - and by that I mean we are - really thankful! :D
Thanks for all the views and faves and comments and all the love and llamas!
I'm gonna need some time to view everything, answer the comments and spread llama-love, so please be patient with me.
Lots of love, my dearies!
Jen

This looks great. The light painting alone is already stunning, and the bullet-time effect still carries some novelty. It was an excellent idea to combine them. It was evidently a lot of work, but it looks to me as if it was worth it.
